Pancakes in the Park Marh 3rd!

On March 3rd, American Legion Post 434 hosts "Pancakes in the Park" Community Service Event to help re-vitalize Eucalyptus Park in Chula Vista, CA (Corner of 4th Avenue and C Street). From 0800 to 1200, there will be pancakes and beverages served to the public for donations (to support our Americanism High School Scholarship Program) and throughout the day there will be park clean-up and support activities going on. At 1200, the event transitions into a Volunteer Action Event when we kick the park clean-up, painting, landscaping, and other assorted tasks into high gear. Already committed to volunteers are SDSU students via EMBRACE San Diego, active duty sailors, area school students, Chula Vista Post 434 Family, and others.

We Now Accept Donations Via PayPal!

Announcing that YOUR Post, Chula Vista Post 434 Now accepts donations online! Yes, you can support our causes year around via the safety of the world's safest, most convenient form of online donation capabilities! Whether it is the helping us feed 250 soldier, sailors, airmen and marines in recovery at Balboa Hospital at one of our many Wounded Warrior events; OR helping us support High School Seniors at each of our Chula Vista High Schools with scholarships, Boys & Girls State government learning camp; OR supporting one of our many Veterans causes; OR helping us in our outreach efforts supporting children in need, sports, city and community endeavors, etc. etc. The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest veterans service organization, committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting a strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans. Anyone that knows Chula Vista Post 434 knows that every penny we receive from our membership dues, to our many meals served, to our activities, to our donations and more all help sustain our ability to live up to the American Legion's Four Pillars of Service: Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism and Children & Youth. Thank you for helping us do just that!
